Slate Tile Installation | Louisville, Kentucky & Southern Indiana

This tile job consisted of about 800 square feet of slate tile. Once completed, the slate cleaned and the floor sealed with a high-gloss sealer, which really brought out the vibrance in the colors, made this job look SA-WEET!
This job was also a real pain in the back! The condo was located on the 4th floor and guess what? The elevator was broke down. We had to haul 53 sheets at about 40 pounds per sheet of cement board, 88 boxes of slate, 14 large bags of setting compound, tools and other supplies up a stairwell so narrow that each cement board had to be carefully handled so as not to scuff or tear a hole in the wall.
After a few hours hauling all that up stairs I had had my fill of hot-wings (Buffalo Wild Wings was across the street) and was ready to join my guys in getting started on prepping the floors for installation. What a day!
A few days later, just after cleaning and packing everything up, the elevator maintenance dude completes his repairs. Naturally.
